Have you heard of Wordle? It's another great visual tool that can be used by teachers, students or anyone who wants to create a visually stimulating display using, what else, words! My Professor used this fun tool in my Young Adult Literature class as a way to see our responses to brainstorming exercises. Text is copied into the wordle page and then a "wordle," or word cloud, is created. The most dominant, repeated words will appear larger than words that are not used as much, so it can be a great way to look at responses to questions or surveys. It's also a great visual aid for presentations for kids, teens and adults! Here is an example of a wordle:
I've used this many times in presentations and wikis I've created for assignments. So create your own and have some fun!
